Introduction to VisSim

VisSim is the dynamic simulation software which is used throughout this course. You have been provided with a copy of the software on the CD and you should already have installed it on your computer. If you haven't you should now!

VisSim is a graphical, block-oriented, simulation language, and is very easy to use once you get to know it. To help you get started a number of resources are available:

• A movie which demonstrates the construction of a simply dynamic model (the movie includes a commentary - make sure you have your speakers switched on to hear this.

• The VisSim manual (looking in the 'Start Menu' list in Windows to find the pdf file)

There are a few additional movies that demonstrate some more advanced VisSim topics:
